Lionel Racing - NASCAR Cup Series 2024 - Harrison Burton - #21 Dex Imaging Throwback

The longest-tenured team in all of NASCAR® racing, Wood Brothers Racing, has a deep and rich history in motorsports. With Glenn Wood wheeling the family’s No. 21 race car and his younger brother Leonard turning the wrenches to make the car a winning one, the Wood Brothers legacy began in 1950. Since, the Wood Brothers operation - which is still owned and operated by the Wood family - has continued on for more than 70 years with some of the sport’s most legendary drivers behind the wheel.

The latest driver to wheel the No. 21 car, Harrison Burton, will be paying homage to the early days of the Wood Brothers Racing team during the Official Throwback Weekend of NASCAR® at Darlington Raceway. Burton’s DEX Imaging Ford Mustang will feature a retro paint scheme that replicates the hand-painted look of the “Leonard Wood Special” No. 21 that Glenn Wood drove in the team’s early days. 

Wood Brothers Racing fans can now place their order for the official Lionel Racing die-cast of Burton’s No. 21 DEX Imaging Throwback Ford. Produced on the all-new Mus-tang Dark Horse tool, each 1:24-scale replica is available in two unique trim levels – an Action Racing Collectables (ARC) hood-open model and a fully diecast ELITE version that is built with an opening hood and trunk. The ELITE die-cast also features a chassis pan that can be removed to reveal undercarriage detail. Each die-cast is built with retro Goodyear tires, a driver-side window net, hand-applied decals, and more. A dazzling Color-Chrome-plated 1:24-scale model and a 1:64-scale die-cast are also on offer.
