Overview:
The centerpiece of most engine service areas is a roundhouse, and your layout should be no exception. The Roundhouse was a hallmark of steam-era railroading, and some of these classics are still used today. No matter the weather, workers could easily inspect and service locos under cover. Size was based on the number of engines coming and going in any 24-hour period, with the busiest terminals requiring full-circle roundhouses.
The Korber 3 Stall Roundhouse includes molded brick details roof top skylights, injection molded chimneys, detailed doors and windows and a real wood internal support structure to bring life to your model railroad.
This kit has been upgraded with new laser cut windows featuring detailed mullions, real wood laser cut doors. Walls are molded in a red brick color to provide extra detail.
The kit comes complete with newly created easy to follow instructions that offer simple steps to provide a great looking roundhouse including several options that allow you to take your layout to the next level.
An extra stall is available to purchase by itself if you would like to add an additional stall (#304A) or a big boy single stall is also available (#304B)
