Overview:

In many engine service areas, the diesel shed is a hotbed of activity. Arriving locomotives are run through the structure where mechanics check them over and make light repairs and adjustments. If major defects are found the engine is sent to the backshop for further work.

The Korber Models 2 Stall Diesel Shed is modeled after structures used by railroads everywhere. Ideal for use alongside other Korber Models engine servicing facility structures, this kit includes detailed interior wood support structure for added realism. The building holds diesels up to 25" long on two tracks - perfect for classic or modern diesels. The (#306A) extension allows you to expand the length of the structure to accommodate even longer engines. Buildings like this are still in use across the land, so the Diesel Shed will look at home on your transition era or later railroad.
