Nashville has long been the home to country music and some of the biggest names in the recording industry. “Music City,” isn’t just known for its honky tonks and live music scene, it also has a rich racing history, as well. This June, Hendrick Motorsports driver Alex Bowman and sponsor Ally will celebrate the music and racing roots of Nashville with a special paint scheme for the race at Nashville Superspeedway.
The design, which was conceptualized with the help of NASCAR Hall of Fame® driver and Ally brand ambassador Dale Earnhardt Jr., goes into all of the elements of Nashville including re-imagined neon signs and a guitar pick as the jack post indicator on the sides of the No. 48 car.
Now, NASCAR® fans can add this unique Bowman diecast to their die-cast collections. The 1:24-scale Lionel Racing die-cast car is available in two different trim levels – an Action Racing Collectables (ARC) hood-open model and a fully die-cast ELITE version that is built with an opening hood and trunk. The ELITE die-cast is also produced with a chassis plate that can be removed to reveal a more detailed undercarriage Plus, each car is crafted with rolling Goodyear tires, a driver-side window net, hand-applied decals, and more. A 1:24-scale version in Lionel Racing’s Color Chrome finish, plus a smaller, 1:64-scale die-cast, are also available.
