MBM Motorsports and driver Timmy Hill represented the spirit and adventure and legacy of America’s Mother Road, Route 66, with a special paint scheme for the NASCAR® All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway.
Hill drove a specially-designed No. 66 AAA Route 66 Road Fest Ford Mustang that celebrated the rich history and cultural significance of Route 66. The Route 66 Road Fest, which takes place June 22 and 23 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, offers Route 66 enthusiasts and travelers alike a chance to experience its timeless charm through interactive exhibits, a classic car show, music and many family activities. From historic landmarks to vibrant communities, Route 66 embodies the freedom of mobility, travel and road trip experiences that AAA has championed for generations.
NASCAR® fans can now add the official Lionel Racing die-cast of Hill’s No. 66 AAA Route 66 Road Fest Ford Mustang their NASCAR® collections. Produced on Lionel’s newest Ford Mustang Dark Horse tool, each 1:24-scale replica is available in two distinct trim levels – an Action Racing Collectables (ARC) hood-open model and a fully die-cast ELITE version that is built with an opening hood and trunk. The ELITE die-cast also features a chassis plate that can be removed to reveal a detailed undercarriage. Each die-cast is detailed with rolling Goodyear tires, a driver-side window net, an authentic decal package, and more. A 1:64-scale die-cast is also available to order.
