The Pennsylvania Railroad borrowed a N&W J Steam Engine for evaluation. N&W Class J 610 was tested by PRR from 12/6/44 through 1/3/45, approximately 7100 miles. It was used on the eastbound Broadway (#28) 12/8, 12/21, 12/29 and 1/1/45. While we have not been able to locate pictures of this, we thought decorating a N&W J for the PRR would be a cool idea. WE are adopting a scheme similar to the PRR T1. BTW, The N&W borrowed a PRR T1 as well. I heard that it wasn't a big hit on the N&W. Credit for this suggestion goes to D. Scott Smith, a famous O gauge hobby contributor.
