Wrought Iron Girder Plate Panels Hot riveted iron plate girder panel. Highly detailed authentic pattern. Made from flexible cast resin. Measures 26.5" wide x 1.75" high x .25" thick. Flexible to a 24" radius. Primer gray finish. 45 degree bevel at each end. Cuts easily with fine-tooth or chop saw. May be painted and weathered**. CA+ adhesives are recommended.

** PAINTING AND WEATHERING:

Because there still may be some residue of the release agent used some paints will not ahere or will flake. Here is a tip! 1st: Give the girder a good soaking in a Calgon detergent solution. 2nd: Dry. 3rd: Apply a coating of denatured alcohol. 4th: Spray paint with flat auto body primer. This method of weathering will prevent the paint from flaking off.
