Mr. Muffin's Trains Warranty & Service Policy

 

What's Covered

We stand behind our products. For one year from the date of purchase, your product is covered against defects in material or workmanship. This warranty is for the original purchaser and isn't transferable.

If your claim is approved, we will, at our discretion, repair, replace, or credit the defective item(s) at no cost for parts or labor.

  • If a product is replaced, it will be with a like-kind item if the exact product is no longer available.

  • Credits can only be used at Mr. Muffin's Trains.

 

What's NOT Covered

This warranty doesn't cover:

  • Cosmetic flaws (either by the manufacturer or Mr. Muffin's Trains)

  • Damage from shipping, commercial use, or product modifications

  • Damage from improper use, maintenance, abuse, or attempted self-repair

  • Issues caused by excessive voltage or soldering of electronic components

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., batteries, bulbs, LEDs, pickup wires, traction tires)

  • Damage from unforeseen events outside our control (e.g., fire, flood, lightning, accidents)

 

How to Start a Warranty Claim

  1. Contact Us First: Before sending anything, reach out to our customer service team using our website's Contact Form or by emailing support@mrmuffinstrains.com.

  2. Provide Details: In your message, include the product number and a brief description of the problem. Pictures are also helpful.

  3. Package Carefully: Please package your item in its original display box to prevent damage during shipping.

  4. Ship to Us: You are responsible for the shipping cost to get the product to us. We recommend using a service with tracking. We are not responsible for packages that are lost in transit.

Our Repair Process

When we receive your product, we will inspect it to determine if it's a valid warranty claim.

  • Warranty Repairs: These are a top priority and are repaired in the order they're received. Once complete, we will ship the product back to you at our expense.

  • Non-Warranty Repairs: If your product is not covered under warranty, we will contact you with an estimate for parts, labor, and return shipping if it's possible for us to repair it.
