Overview:
While there is no shortage of prototypical heritage units on the road today, we can't help but think that there are still quite a few fantastic paint schemes from the 1990s that would have looked great going forward. So we're raising up a few "fallen flags" and other classic looks for this round of ES44AC's. Not to be completely fanciful, KCS kicked in with two more prototypical units, including the very unique "Safety Starts Here" unit, and one which carries a pink breast cancer awareness ribbon. We're not sure the latter is an "official" unit by the railroad, but it's a nice touch, and one worth modeling. Both of these unique models are available in powered and non-powered versions.
